The Museum is part of the Google Art Project

The Google Art Project offers visitors unique visits to the most prestigious of the world's cultural institutions. By participating in this project, the musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac offers a new interactive opportunity to discover or rediscover its architecture, scenography and the masterpieces contained by its collections.

This system, which is based on the Street View technology used by Google Maps, enables 360° views and an interactive tour of the exhibition spaces. Visitors can move freely in the Museum hall, then move up to the Main Collections level. A selection of 25 works are accompanied by detailed descriptions, images in high definition and videos to complement the presentation.

This remote consultation offers an initial view of the collections prior to a visit, a means of enriching the visitor's knowledge and enables visitors who are unable to visit – tourists from far away, disabled people etc. – to gain access to the Museum's collections.
