; The purpose of this research is to study the modality of the formation of the female identity. On the basis of the female sexuality, from a psychoanalytical point of view, we will examine the concept of “femininity”, putting it into parallel with the out come of anthropological research in order to revalorize it. The Taoist corpus offers the ways and means of another definition of the femininity. Crossed by the Vacuum, the emblem of the Yin-Yang represents a fluid identity corresponding to a female “bisexual” sexuality: one is passive as is the image of the Vagina; and the other is active as is the Clitoris. Moreover, a female identity which refers to the image of the Ravine Taoist will be approached, leading thus not only to an invention of the “maternal” female identity within the meaning of the figurative term, but also, to an approach of the foundation of a female genealogy.
