; The Journal de la Société des américanistes is an internationally renowned academic journal devoted to the history of Amerindian cultures and societies in their totality. The originality of the journal and the wealth of its contributions comes from its openness to many disciplines, bringing together prehistoric studies, archaeology, ethno-history, ethnology, ethno-linguistics, and more rarely sociology and biological anthropology.
