Résumé
'New and unpublished data obtained mostly by archaeological researchers of the Universidad Veracruzana (UV) on the cultural diversity of the Pre-Columbian civilizations settled in the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, emphasizing the correlations between different regions, evident in the presence of certain urban developments and symbols, such as the presence of ball game fields and consistent styles in their ceramics. The book covers from the northern Olmec area and their symbolic stone monuments, their architecture, also present in the architecture and ceramic of the neighborhood site of Los Tuxtlas, to the central semiarid zone of la Mixtequilla and the Totonaca urban and political center of El Tajin in the highlands.'
