The musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac is organising an international symposium to coincide with the exhibition 'African Routes'.
(copie 27)
The symposium aims to consolidate this continent's place in the history of globalisation, to identify the different movement of people, ideas and objects, and, to discuss and deconstruct stereotypes like those attached to the notion of a 'primitive' or 'closed' continent.
