This interdisciplinary international conference, combining natural and social sciences, will provide an overview of recent research on domestication and forms of hybrid communities joining together humans, plants and animals in past and contemporary societies.

This interdisciplinary international conference, combining natural and social sciences, will provide an overview of recent research on domestication and forms of hybrid communities joining together humans, plants and animals in past and contemporary societies.

The conference will appeal to a diverse audience of researchers, but also to professionals studying aspects of the social relationships between humans and non-humans: how do we transform the non-humans and how does the non-human transform us?
