Founded by James Hemsley, Kirk Martinez and Anthony Hamber in 1990 in London, the EVA (Electronic Information, the Visual Arts and Beyond) conferences are held annually in Berlin (Germany), Florence (Italy), Jerusalem (Israel), Saint-Petersburg (Russia) and Canberra (Australia).
This international conference will examine the different ways in which the digital revolution is changing our perception of the body, space and time. New technologies are revolutionising our view of museum objects and monuments: internal visibility, reconstruction, 3D, virtualisation, and changing dimensions (for example: creating sound from an image). This conference is aimed at a wide audience of archaeologists, anthropologists, architects, historians and art historians, students, researchers, and institutional professionals.
