The study day "Museum collections today", organised as part of the research days, brings an end to a year of work carried out at the musée du quai Branly Jacques-Chirac by five researchers awarded post-doctoral fellowships.
About the symposium
Three round tables will bring together academics from different disciplines and geographic areas, museum professionals and indigenous researchers to discuss the circulation of objects and images. This theme was selected as a joint research programme for the post-doctoral work conducted within the Department of Research and Education for the 2018-2020 period. It also echoes the questions raised by the exhibition 20 Years of Collection Enrichment. Musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac, which presents the contemporary trends in a collection dedicated to non-European cultures and arts.
