A musical creation inspired by the age-old writings of Zoroaster and the poetry of Rumi.
The mezzo-soprano Ariana Vafadari builds bridges between traditional Iranian, Ottoman and Moroccan music, jazz and Western classical music. Resulting from her bond with the Persian literature specialist Leili Anvar, her latest musical creation, Anahita, draws inspiration from the story of the Iranian goddess of water, fecundity, peoples and the living.
