The Friends of the musée du quai Branly-Jacques Chirac were created in 2002, four years before the museum opened. Its purpose is to contribute, in all possible ways, to the influence and development of the musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac. In 20 years, more than 50 acquisition, restoration or research support projects were financed by the generosity of the Friends, major donors or members of the Lévi-Strauss Circle and the Circle for Photography, for over 2 million euros.

This exhibition is an opportunity to thank all the Friends’ members for their commitment to the museum and their faithful generosity over the past 20 years.
