All of the spaces at the musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac are accessible to people with reduced mobility, along with all activities, performances and events
Advance booking is strongly recommended, even for visitors eligible for free admission. To book a time slot, go to the online ticketing service page.
The museum is delighted to have been awarded the French Tourisme & Handicap [Tourism & Disabilities] label for adaptation to people with motor, mental, aural or visual impairments!
To receive all of the museum’s accessibility news directly by email, sign up for the “Accessibility Newsletter” sent out once every three months (in French).
Plan your Visit
Admission to the museum is free for you and one accompanying person, and you benefit from reduced rates on guided tours.
Groups also benefit from a reduced rate on activities.

All of the museum’s spaces are accessible to wheelchair users, and lifts provide access to the various levels.
The recommended entrance for visitors with reduced mobility is 222 rue de l’Université. This entrance is equipped with a lift.
Reception staff are available to provide directions and assistance if needed.
Tools for visitors
Wheelchairs, folding seats and walking frames are available on loan from the cloakroom for visitors who tire more easily.
A step is available on loan from the cloakroom for visitors of small stature.
During your visit, orientation tables help you find your way around the permanent collections. To get your bearings ahead of your visit, view the museum map.
Places are reserved for wheelchairs in the cinema, the Claude Lévi-Strauss Theatre and the open-air theatre.

Explore the museum as a group
Associations, schools, specialised establishments, etc. You can book an activity for your group for the date of your choice. Book at least 15 days in advance and remember to provide any useful information regarding your group so that the tour guide can best adapt the visit.
